WHAT?!?!?!?! HONDA DOES IT AGAIN!!!!
Our masterpiece is changing everything, again. The craftsmanship and sophisticated styling of the Accord combine with hybrid efficiency and electric torque in the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in Electric Hybrid. The all-new Accord Plug-in Hybrid will offer everything you love about the Accord, like premium technology, innovative safety features and extensive cabin space—plus it is targeted to have the ability to run in all-electric mode for 10 to 15 miles[1].
The 2014 Accord Plug-in Hybrid will have three different driving operations: all-electric EV drive, gasoline-electric Hybrid Drive and direct-engine drive. The two-motor hybrid system allows the powertrain to move seamlessly between the three operations so drivers can customize their commute and maximize the efficiency of their drive. The total driving range rating for an Accord Plug-in Hybrid with a full tank of gasoline, without external battery recharging, is targeted to reach over 500 miles[1].
With a remarkably fast charge time, the 2014 Accord Plug-in Hybrid will have all of the efficiency of a hybrid electric vehicle. Additionally, the HondaLink™ EV smartphone application will allow owners to easily monitor the charging state of their Accord Plug-in Hybrid.
The 2014 Accord Plug-in Hybrid will be available in one highly equipped trim level with all the conveniences of the Accord Touring Sedan model. Features will include a multi-angle rearview camera, LED headlights, Expanded View Driver's Mirror, exclusive bio-fabric seat material, Smart Entry and Pandora® internet radio interface[2].
The Accord Plug-in Hybrid also will provide a high level of safety features with Forward Collision Warning (FCW)[3], and Lane Departure Warning (LDW)[4], as well as driver convenience with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)[5].
Get ready for change, because the 2014 Accord Plug-in Hybrid will be a part of the Honda lineup in early 2013.

FCW does not include a braking function. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
[4] LDW only alerts drivers when lane drift is detected without a turn signal in use. LDW may not detect all lane markings or lane departures; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and road condition. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
[5] ACC cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. ACC should not be used in heavy traffic, poor weather or on winding roads. The driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision.
